Lash Lifts:

This is for my clients who are interested in something a bit simpler than lash extensions, yet a bit more than a simple lash tint. You must be 18 years of age to receive a lash lift.

What you can expect with a lash lift service is a relaxing spa type experience. My clients need to stay quiet while receiving a lash lift because the process is very tedious and any movement of the face can cause movement to your shaped lashes. If you are claustrophobic, or have a hard time staying still, or keeping your eyes closed all the way for up to 40 minutes, this would not be the service for you. Below the pricing, you will find more information and ways to prepare for your lash lift, as well as how to take care of your lashes post lift.

This service lasts from 4-6 weeks. It gives the natural lashes an appearance of being longer, thicker, and darker. It has much less maintenance than lash extension. A small silicone rod is used to shape the lashes and lift them from the base along the lash line for a lifted and lengthened result. I will be taking before and after photos, you will be able to choose and sign a waiver saying whether you are okay with me posting your before and after photos on social media or my website, or not. Either way I will take them for my own records and for you to see the results.  

How long does it last?:

A lash lift will last as long as  your natural lash cycle, which can be up to 8 weeks. This service on average will last between 4-6 weeks. Although, the tint may need to be re-applied every 2-3 weeks to keep up with a longer lasting color. 

How to prepare for your lash lift appointment:

  • Come in with no make up on your eyes, I will be cleaning your lashes- but remember the longer I have to spend cleaning your lashes, the less processing time we will have. With lash lifts, a specific amount of time is needed to process the lashes, so please come prepared. You can bring your make up remover and use the salon restroom to remove your make up as well.

  • I don't recommend drinking caffeine before the appointment, anything you can do that will relax you prior will be of benefit. The less antsy, or jittery you are, the smoother the service will go.

  • Check your eyes for any signs of puffiness or sores. If you have any signs of an eye injury or infection, I will not perform the service until I feel the eye has healed completely. 

  • You will read and sign a consent form at your first lash lift appointment, it is then your responsibility to let me know if anything has changed since your last appointment with me. 
     

Post-care:

  • Do not get your lashes wet for 24 hours after lash lift is performed.

  • Do not use any harsh mascaras (water proof, chemical based ingredients) for the entire life of your lift. 

  • Do not use strong eye makeup removers for 48 hours as they may strip the color if a tint has been performed. 

  • Avoid heat and steam or saunas for 24 hours as this can encourage the lift to relax.

  • Do not rub or play with lashes if any irritation occurs, apply a clean, cold, wet pad to the eye area or bathe the eyes with clean and cool water and contact a doctor. As a cosmetologist I am not allowed to provide medical advice to my clients, so any irritations or reactions must be sent to a medical professional. 

Brow Laminations:

  • Brow laminations are an eyebrow treatment that leave the brow hair soft, silky, and obedient, making them easier for you to shape and style. It provides a fuller and more even looking natural brow shape. It generally lasts 4-6 weeks and up to 8 weeks with diligent aftercare.

  • Brow laminating is a three step process: a lifting cream, a locking cream, and a bombing cream which adds back moisture and nutrients to the natural brow hairs after the lifting and locking process. No plastic wrap necessary for this brand of product, so less wasteful which goes perfectly with my goals as an eco-concious stylist.

  • Brow tinting and shaping is highly recommended to go along with this service to give a fuller, darker, and more even looking brow line. Though, the brow tint doesn’t last as long, it lasts around 2-4 weeks depending on after-care.

  • I will go over more information with you at the time of your appointment and we will discuss diligent aftercare. Waiting 24-48 hours after the service before getting the brows wet is necessary for the success of the service.

how to prepare:

  • Come to the service with clean skin and no previous brow make up on.

  • We will consult on shape and color of the brows before we begin your service.

  • Prepare to relax in silence for the service as it is a spa like, relaxing environment for you to catch a cat nap or go to a meditative state.

  • The service takes around 45-60min depending on if tinting and shaping is added.

  • A free patch test for allergies is available for this service, please schedule 48 hours prior to your appointment.
